In large quantities, Alcohol can be like a poison and harm the body, especially the liver. Alcoholic beverages are high in calories (7 kilocalories per gram). So having several drinks daily can lead to obesity. Alcoholic beverages have very few nutrients and vitamins and therefore people who normally substitute some of their meals due to alcoholic beverages, they are losing important nutrients.
Moderate alcohol intake of less than 30 grams per day, primarily through wine during meals, can have a potentially beneficial effect on blood fat levels. The following amounts of different alcoholic beverages contain approximately 8 to 10 grams of alcohol:

- WHISKEY, ANIS (25ml)
